Hello,

I want to construct some operators like these $$\sigma^{\alpha_1}_1 \otimes... \otimes\sigma^{\alpha_N}_N$$ One way would be to use the autoMPO constructor but how can I construct the necessary loop? A much easier way would be to create the tensor product of consecutive sites but I don't seem to find such function, does it exist?

Thank you

Hi, just to clarify your question, are you wanting this product as a single tensor or as an MPO? (If you were to store this product as a single tensor, the size of this tensor would grow exponentially with N.)

Actually both if possible (yes, it grows exponentially)

Formatting Tips:
  • To format code, indent by four spaces
  • To format inline LaTeX, surround it by @@ on both sides
  • To format LaTeX on its own line, surround it by $$ above and below
  • For LaTeX, it may be necessary to backslash-escape underscore characters to obtain proper formatting. So for example writing \sum\_i to represent a sum over i.
